Digital Bedrock’s standard practice is to store digital assets offline for maximum security. We can also securely transfer client data to and from their preferred cloud providers. Because we operate within a direct-connect data center, these transfers are performed within a highly secure environment.

We offer an innovative partnership with Wasabi Technologies, giving clients the option of “hot” cloud storage to complement our secure, offline digital preservation solution.

Wasabi’s cloud storage provides immediate access to digital content in a cloud environment, while Digital Bedrock performs ongoing managed digital preservation actions on files selected for offline preservation. Together, this hybrid approach supports both active access and long-term security.

Media workflows have undergone tremendous transformations, with increased use of virtualized operations using cloud compute and storage.  However, valuable media assets still need to be secured for long-term preservation offline.
